At Somers Eye Center, our vision is centered around YOUR vision! We are dedicated to providing quality eye care to ensure our patients have the best vision possible. Our services range from providing routine vision exams for glasses or contact lenses all the way to cataract surgery!

We are saddened to report that Dr. Michael Somers retired as of January 2023. Dr. Somers has provided outstanding care to the residents of North KC for the past 30 years and he will certainly be missed. Dr. Audrey Blacklock will be continuing Dr. Somers excellent surgical and medical eye care to our patients.

We are excited to announce that Dr. Stephen Loughman has joined Somers Eye Center! Dr. Loughman has over 30 years of experience as an optometrist in the Kansas City area. Please stop by to say hello and welcome Dr. Loughman to Somers Eye Center.

In addition to adding Dr. Loughman to our staff, we are excited to announce that our optical dispensary will be expanding and improving! We will be adding several new designer frame lines to provide all of our patients with the best available ophthalmic products.
