Somers Eye Center takes great pride in being on the cutting edge of sports’ vision. From the latest refractive surgery to the latest contact lens, we have it all.

The newest addition to our sports’ vision department is the Nike MaxSight Sport-Tinted Contact Lenses. The lenses come in two colors:

• The amber lens for baseball, softball, football, soccer and tennis, blocks distracting light waves and makes the ball “pop” off of the background. It also reduces glare from the sun.
• The grey-green lens for golf and running also blocks out distracting light waves and makes it easier to distinguish changing terrain and makes the green easier to locate. It also reduces glare from the sun.
